“We believe agricultural waste can be transformed into something useful — and that doing so responsibly can also mean sustainable prosperity for our community.”
Eco Dosti Nepal was founded in Sainamaina-11, Rupandehi, with a simple idea: agricultural waste doesn't have to go to waste. Natural and recycled materials that are locally available can be turned into everyday products instead.
We design and handcraft our products locally, aiming to offer a genuine, organic alternative to plastic — built on materials we can source close to home.
We're early in this journey. As we grow, our focus is on doing it right: sourcing responsibly, building real skills in our community, and creating products people are glad to use.
We build every product around natural and recycled agricultural materials sourced locally, offering a genuine alternative to plastic.
We work directly with local communities in Rupandehi, supporting fair, sustainable work close to home.
We aim to create local job opportunities and skills training for youth in Rupandehi as we grow, keeping value and income within the community.
Our products are designed with their full lifecycle in mind — made to be used and, where possible, composted or recycled rather than landfilled.
Every product is handcrafted in Rupandehi. We're building a brand rooted in Nepali craftsmanship and sustainable production.
We're constantly refining our materials and processes to make our products more durable, more useful, and more sustainable.
